DRRM Assessment of the City of Valenzuela (Module 3 and 4)

December 7, 2019 – I went to Valenzuela City’s City Hall with the purpose of assessing the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management of the whole city. Valenzuela is one of the sixteen cities in the National Capital Region, where it was first founded by Juan Taranco and Juan Monsod on November 12, 1623. However, it was first recognized as an independent city on September 11, 1963 based on Executive Order No. 46, when Former President Diosdado Macapagal reformed then two split towns of Polo, and renamed it as the City of Valenzuela, paying homage to Dr. Pio Valenzuela, one of the heroes during the Philippine Revolution. From then, the city has continued to develop until the present day, where it was named one of the safest cities not only in the country, but on Southeast Asia.

day 2 and day 3.

So here’s another update on my weekly immersion. we currently missed 16 hours of immersion because of the suspension of classes, and i thought, why not make another blog about it? so here is my day 2 and 3 of immersion

So today was our first day of immersion. It’s a crazy new day for me since a.) i have never experienced this and b.) i have no idea what to expect. If I have to summarize this day it would be the two words I put in my title. Two very different words, and one of them is literally an appliance. Anyways here’s my day.

Last night, I watched a 2017 Horror film “Get Out” directed by newbie Jordan Peele. This movie was all over Facebook and Twitter back in early 2017. Since Halloween is right around the corner, I thought, why not watch a horror film. This is my review of the movie.

You’ve read my title, and you must be thinking, “Those words really get along together” As a 12th Grade student, we have to pass this subject from hell called “Research”I barely survived it last year, and now it’s back more stressful and more complicated than the last time, and we’re not even at the very main research yet. We’re just at the very start, which is the Research Proposal.

So yesterday was one of my former classmate and current schoolmate’s 18th birthday, or in other words, her debut. Even though this is not the first time I attended a debut, I definitely have some first experiences last night, and before anything else
